Jurgen Klopp needs a break. The German manager admitted that when he ends his contract with Liverpool he will take a year off to find out what it is like to lead a normal life.

Jurgen Klopp has been in charge of Liverpool since October 2015. The German coach arrived in England after ending a successful spell at Borussia Dortmund.

Six long years as manager of the Reds, with whom he still has a contract until 2024, in which he has managed 321 official matches, with an average of 59.2% of victories.

A long period that will come to an end in three years’ time. That is why Klopp is already thinking about the day he leaves Liverpool. In an interview with ‘RTL’, the German wanted to talk about what he will do when his contract comes to an end.

“When my contract with Liverpool is up, I have to find out what it’s like to live a normal life again. I want to live a year off because I’ve never been able to enjoy it,” Klopp commented.

“I love my job, I enjoy it a lot. The only problem with being a manager is that you never stop working, you don’t get a chance to switch off. I don’t know if I want that in my old age.
