Pep Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, is reportedly not pleased as his defender, Joao Cancelo, “wants to leave” Etihad this summer’s transfer window.
Barcelona could offer its right-back, Nelson Semedo, to Man City in a swap deal for Cancelo who has been on Barca’s radar for a long time, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The newspaper reports that Semedo wants to join the champions of the Premier League ahead of other options and that Cancelo wants to join Barcelona too, adding that the solution could be a swap deal.
Cancelo joined Man City from Serie A champions, Juventus, in the summer of 2019.
Semedo has also been linked with a move away from Barcelona this summer.
However, the Brazilian has not really lived up to expectations at Camp Nou since joining the club from Benfica in 2017, according to Mundo Deportivo.
