Arsenal\u2019s hopes of signing Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan are seemingly dead in the water, Sky Italia reports.<\/p>\n

The Serie A club have reportedly ruled out Martinez\u2019s departure, as they prepare to sell Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, it is believed Lukaku has informed Inter of his desire to return to Stamford Bridge, where he feels he has unfinished business.<\/p>\n

Therefore, the Blues are expected to get the player, should they launch a third bid in excess of \u00a3100million.<\/p>\n

Lukaku\u2019s strike partner, Martinez, has also been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal this summer, as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his attack.<\/p>\n

Martinez is said to be open to joining the Gunners and Inter were prepared to listen to offers for the 23-year-old given their financial struggles.<\/p>\n

However, they are now resigned to losing Lukaku but Martinez will be staying put.<\/p>\n
